'Lost in the post' book launch at Magma Manchester

Kevin Boniface has been an Operational Grade Delivery Officer (postman) in Huddersfield for more than ten years. In this collection of 'dispatches ' from his rounds, set alongside photographs from the prize-winning Shaw and Shaw team, he paints a hilariously recognisable portrait of weekday life in an ordinary English town – as seen from the postman's eye view...

Jo and Christoph Shaw are two photographers based in Manchester who work together as Shaw+Shaw. Rarely seen apart, their collective eyes take delight in seeking out the tawdry details of northern life. Vertical tanning, missing hamsters, compensations claims and Jesus sandals are just a few of the delights on offer in Lost in the Post.

Jo and Christoph workextensively for various magazines, advertising and design agencies and their work has been awarded both nationally and internationally.

A selection of Shaw and Shaw's photography will be shown inside and outside of Magma's Manchester store until the end of October.
